Happy Father's Day to all the Daddy's out there.
A special Happy Father's Day to my Daddy and my Baby Daddy!

This Weeks Questions:

1. What is your biggest driving pet peeve? People who don't know how to drive, period.
- People who drive behind you when you're backing up in a parking lot.
- People who cut me off.
- People who drive too slow.
But the worst...
- Tailgating. Let me high five your face for you. Yes, I have some road rage issues.

2. Biggest Blogging pet peeve? Spam. Enough said.

3. Biggest general pet peeve? People who don't wash their hands. I hate germs.

Funny Somewhat Topical Ecard: Not sure which is worse...hands covered in germs, or using sanitizer and having hands covered in dead germs.

4. What is your most irrational fear? Earthquakes/Tsunami's. Ever since Japan, I'm terrified of the ocean which is sad because I grew up around the ocean.

5. 3 celebrities you’d want to have dinner with? Backstreet Boys, Ellen DeGeneres, and Heidi Klum. Yes. I said the Backstreet Boys. I'm not ashamed of that.

2010. Yep. This happened. Best. Weekend. Ever.

The day I tried Peachwave Frozen Yogurt

Why have I not heard about Peachwave until just recently? Oh right... Canada just got the first store a couple of months ago! Luckily enough for me, it was in my city. Unluckily for my husband, I have a new favorite store. Thank you creator of Peachwave. Thank you. At the same time, my waistline dislikes you. It does say it's healthy so I guess I can't complain with advertising.

For those of you who don't know what Peachwave is, the concept is pretty simple.

There are only 4 rules.

I chose 2 flavours; cupcake & vanilla. I went relatively easy on the toppings.

But then I found the chocolate fudge.

Please note my phone was dying so I rushed to get pictures. Boo you iPhone battery.

Strawberries, banana, brownies, cookies 'n cream, skor bits, sprinkles, and a gummy frog.

It came to $6.24 and it put the "yum" in yummy. T'was a good night folks. A good night indeed.

Now go eat some frozen yogurt.

3 months already??!

Where has the time gone?? It will be a year next week since I found out I was pregnant. Fast forward to right now and I have the cutest, bald, chubby-legged boy staring at me. I can't believe yesterday was his 3 month birthday. We celebrated by eating cupcakes on his behalf. They were delicious.

There really is nothing easy about motherhood... Wait, I take that back. Loving him is super easy!

How could I not love this face?

Everything else is hard though! The worst part? Holding your baby while they're getting their shots. Can you say heartbreaking?  It's way worse then labour and delivery. That's a physical pain. Listening to your child cry from pain, that you intentionally caused but for their own benefit of course, is like stabbing yourself in the heart with 10,000  knives. Thankfully for me, he only cried for 10-20 seconds until I plopped him on my boob. He had the best sleep after that.

He's still the best thing that's happened to me. I'm sure I'm going to wake up and he'll be turning 1 soon enough. For now, I'm going to enjoy every day and all the new adventures we have planned.

Beach
Swimming pool on deck - it gets hot here
Swimming lessons (they start at 4 months! Who knew?)
Walks
Trips to see family
BBQ's
Friend visits
Paddleboarding

Ok the last one is mine but Mylo will have daddy time so it's a win-win situation. It's going to be a fun summer! Now let's pray the weather stays nice and no forest fires this year!

What do you have planned for summer?

{Sunday Social}

How did you come up with your blog name?
It's a nickname my uncle gave me as a kid.

What is your favorite thing about blogging?
It's an outlet to vent, share, or simply write about things I'm passionate about.
It's fascinating how many other blogs and shops I've found because of it too.

What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now cant live without?
Hmm.. I started writing things down in a notebook. It's helped me alot because I can go back and look at things that I would otherwise forget. So I can't live without paper and a pen.

Facebook or Twitter? and why?
Facebook all the way. There is so much traffic on Twitter it's hard to follow people. Half the time I don't even see tweets from the blogs or people I really like because I follow so many people. That sounds bad. Hopefully you know what I mean.
I find Facebook more personal.

If one celeb read your blog who would you want it to be?
Right now I would say any mom celebrity like Jessica Simpson or Nicole Richie in hopes they would:
1 - offer me some much needed mommy makeover advice
2 - suggest a playdate somehow with our munchkins

What is something you want people to know about your blog?
I'm still pretty new at blogging and trying to get into a routine with it. It's been tough because I was pregnant when I started it and now I'm a new mommy.
I will be writing about my experiences as a mother and general life stuff: diy//crafts//food etc.

Proud mommy moment!

Ladies and gents.. we hit a huge milestone this weekend. On Saturday, my munchkin decided to surprise us while on tummy time... by rolling over! Proud mommy moment right there! Of course there were waterworks by yours truly. It's crazy to think he'll be 3 months old in a matter of days. My baby boy isn't going to be a baby for much longer. *Enter sad face*

Excuse the sniffling.

I love holding him while he sleeps. I can't hear anything but his breathing. I can't feel anything but his warmth. I can't smell anything but his sweet baby smell. In those moments, the world stops for a split second and nothing else matters.
